The Award was delivered to Andrea Amico, President of Jack Cooper Logistics, which owns Auto Export Shipping, by His Excellency the Nigerian Ambassador and General Consul Geoffrey I. Teneilabe.

AES was "carefully selected by the Management and Board of the African Leadership magazine to receive a Special Commendation Award in recognition of your invaluable contributions to the growth and support for trade between Africa and the Americas, as a leading logistics services provider. This prestigious award is designed to honour best practices, investments and outstanding achievements of businesses, core stakeholders and policy makers that have sustained economic cooperation between the Americas and Africa."
